ANNOUNCEMENTS
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR APRIL 12-13. 2025
As part of our ongoing effort to grow as a vibrant and caring parish, we will also be conducting a Parish Census beginning in May. This important initiative will help us better understand the needs of our community, improve communication, and plan more effectively for ministries and outreach. Whether you are new to All Saints or have long called it home, your participation is vital in helping us care for every member of our parish family.
Ministry is not just a role—it is a sacred response to God’s call, a living expression of love in action. This year, rather than hosting a Ministry Fair, we invite all ministry leaders and members to enter a time of reflection, prayer, and renewal. Let us revisit the heart of our mission: Why did we begin? Whom are we called to serve? Are we faithfully living the Gospel through our work? If your ministry has grown quiet or weary, may the Holy Spirit reignite the fire within. Let us serve not out of duty, but with devotion—joyfully, zealously, and united in Christ’s love. “Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord” (Romans 12:11).
We deeply appreciate everyone who supported and volunteered at our recent church fundraising dinners. Your generosity and service are invaluable. All proceeds, along with funds from future dinner fundraisers, will be dedicated to building a Grotto in honor of Our Blessed Mother, Mary, a sacred space for prayer and reflection. May this project deepen our unity, faith, and love for Mary, while also fostering a vibrant and strong parish community.
We warmly invite all parishioners to fully enter into the sacred mysteries of Holy Week. Join us for the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday (April 17) at 7:00 PM, with Adoration until 10:00 PM. On Good Friday (April 18), we will pray the Living Stations of the Cross at 3:00 PM, followed immediately by the Passion service. The Easter Vigil will be held on Holy Saturday (April 19) at 8:00 PM, and our joyful Easter Sunday Masses will be at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM, followed by a festive Easter egg hunt, all children are invited.
Dear Sisters, Brothers and Friends of All Saints Catholic Church:
Greetings and Praise the Lord.
REFLECTIONS-Holy Thursday:
Love That Lowers Itself
Tonight, we step into the Upper Room—a place of bread, of water, of love poured out. Holy Thursday is not just a prelude to the Passion. It is a profound revelation of the heart of Jesus. In a world chasing power, Jesus shows us something radical: real power kneels to serve.
John 13 tells us: “Jesus rose from supper, took off his outer garments, and tied a towel around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet…” (John 13:4-5)
This is the King of Kings, kneeling at the feet of fishermen. God, with a towel. Love, with calloused hands. He didn’t just say “I love you”—He showed it. With water. With bread. With a cross.
Tonight, Jesus gives us three gifts: The Eucharist – His Body and Blood, the very food of our journey. The Priesthood – Servants ordained not for status, but for sacrifice. The Commandment – “Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 13:34)
This kind of love doesn’t just feel warm—it gets its hands dirty. It listens. It forgives. It lifts the lowly. In a world full of empty words, Jesus gives us a love that acts.
Too often, we live like those in meetings who say, “We should serve more” or “We should love better,” but never step forward. But Jesus didn’t hold a meeting—He got on His knees.
Remember Moses in Exodus 17—when his arms were raised, Israel won the battle. But when they fell, defeat came. So Aaron and Hur held up his hands—and the people prevailed. Victory came through support, not speeches.
So tonight, let’s ask: Whose feet can I wash? Whose hands can I lift?
This Holy Thursday, let’s recommit to love—not just in words, but in action. Let’s be people of the towel, the table, and the cross. Because the love that knelt in the Upper Room… is the love that still kneels for you. And now, it’s our turn to kneel for one another.

REFLECTIONS-Good Friday:
The Power of the Cross
Today we gather not in sorrow alone, but in awe and wonder—because today is Good Friday. How can a day of suffering, betrayal, and death be good? It’s good because today, love did not run away. Love stood, love bled, love won.
The world saw a man broken. Heaven saw a Lamb offered. The world saw weakness. God revealed power through sacrifice. Isaiah prophesied: “By his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)
On the Cross, Jesus bore the weight of all sin, all shame, all despair. Not because we earned it—but because grace never waits for perfection. He was pierced, not by accident, but by choice. He chose the nails, He chose the silence, He chose the Cross—for you.
Let’s not rush past this moment. Today we see that God is not distant in our pain—He is right there, suffering with us. Every tear, every betrayal, every loneliness—we find Jesus in it.
And yet, even in death, Jesus is still King. Not with a crown of gold, but with a crown of thorns. Not seated on a throne, but lifted high on wood—for all to see what love truly looks like.
In the Gospel of John, Jesus declares with His final breath: “It is finished.” (John 19:30)
That’s not a cry of defeat—it’s a victory shout. It is finished! The debt is paid. The door is open. Sin is crushed. Heaven is near.
Like Moses in the desert—when his hands were lifted, victory came. When they fell, the people faltered. But others held him up. We too are called to lift one another—in prayer, in support, in love—because the Cross is not just Jesus’ alone. It’s the place we learn to carry each other.
This Friday is Good because it shows us that no darkness is too deep for God’s light, and no sin too great for His mercy.
So come to the Cross—not with fear, but with faith. Come not with guilt, but with gratitude. Because on this Cross, love did not give up—it gave everything. And now, we live in that love.
